Description


Responsibilities:

o Providing pre-contract cost management services, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This includes aligning cost management products with company budgets, preparing and submitting cost estimates, creating tender documents, managing the tender process, and reporting on all related activities.

o Cost planning, ongoing cost studies, cost control, and ways to improve project costs.

o Evaluating project work and arranging payments, as well as preparing final accounts and contract management

o Preparing and submitting reports to clients.

o Managing and supervising all aspects of the quantity surveying work for our projects

o Leading quantity surveyors on projects and providing guidance and support to them

o Reviewing documents and performance of subcontractors and suppliers

o Resolving contractual disputes and claims with contractors and preparing client claims

o Preparing and submitting project cost and progress reports



Skills:

o Proficiency in project estimation and pricing software.
o Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
o Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
o Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
o Strong project management skills.
o Effective negotiation and communication skills.
o Experience in budget management and cost control.


Preferred Candidate:
o 10+ years of post-graduate demonstrable Experience in all aspects of pre-contract quantity surveying

o The last 3+ years of Experience must be in Saudi Arabia

o The last 3+ years of Experience must be with a good reputation contracting company on pre-contract projects

o Sound knowledge and practical Experience in cost estimating and planning processes.

o Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.

o Arabic language skills, as well as English language written and oral skills

O Having a Transferable Iqama

o Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

o Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles
