Job Summary:
The Shiploader Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant loading of petroleum products or liquefied natural gas (LNG) onto marine vessels. This role ensures all loading operations follow established procedures, safety regulations, and company standards, while minimizing delays and maximizing throughput.

Key Responsibilities
:
Operate shiploading equipment such as loading arms, booms, conveyors, valves, and pumps to facilitate the transfer of oil, gas, or derivatives.

Monitor tank levels, flow rates, pressures, and temperatures during loading operations to ensure accurate and safe transfer.

Coordinate with marine personnel, control room operators, and terminal staff to prepare for ship berthing, mooring, and cargo handling.

Inspect and maintain loading arms, hoses, gangways, and associated infrastructure to ensure functionality and compliance.

Respond promptly to alarms, equipment malfunctions, or emergencies, and take corrective action per protocols.

Complete loading checklists, logbooks, and shipment records accurately.

Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Participate in emergency drills, safety meetings, and ongoing training programs.

Ensure proper sealing and sampling of product according to company procedures and client requirements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in industrial operations or maritime logistics preferred.
