Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our growing fast food restaurant group. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting within the fast food sector in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of local regulatory requirements, food costing, inventory control, and operational budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate food and beverage cost models.

Monitor daily and monthly inventory usage and variance reports.

Analyze cost data to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaborate with purchasing, kitchen, and operations teams to control costs.

Perform monthly cost reconciliations and prepare management reports.

Support in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

Ensure compliance with KSA accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in a fast food or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) environment in Saudi Arabia.

Strong knowledge of food cost control, recipe standardization, and waste management.

Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Foodics is a plus).

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Familiarity with local labor laws, taxation, and ZATCA guidelines.

Preferred:

Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is an advantage.

Arabic language skills are a plus.
