Description

Position:** QC Welding Inspector
**Location:** Jafurah (Samsung Project)
**Approval Required:** Aramco Approved (Mandatory)

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of all welding activities (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW)
- Verify compliance with Aramco standards, ASME Section IX, and AWS D1.1 requirements
- Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
- Monitor and document welder qualifications and performance
- Coordinate with NDT personnel for radiographic (RT), ultrasonic (UT), and other testing methods
- Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
- Identify and report welding defects, ensuring proper corrective actions

**Requirements:**
- **Mandatory** Aramco approval for Welding Inspection
- Valid CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI certification
- Minimum 5 years experience in welding inspection for oil & gas projects
- In-depth knowledge of ASME B31.3, API 1104, and other relevant codes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
