A well-reputed company is looking for a 'Lathe Operator (Machinist)'

Successful candidate must possess the below skills:
- Set up, operate, and maintain lathe machines in accordance with blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions to ensure - precision manufacturing and quality control.
- Securely load, unload, and accurately position metal workpieces on the lathe to ensure safe and precise machining operations
- Machine parts to exact specifications using appropriate cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and coolants to maintain tolerances and surface finishes.
- Measure and inspect machined parts throughout the process using calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure machined parts meet quality standards and accurately document any deviations or non-conformances for corrective action
- Perform routine maintenance on assigned lathe machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe manufacturing environment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
- Foster positive working relationships and promote a spirit of teamwork within the department to support a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Review samples, technical drawings, or work instructions to fully understand output specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy in all machining tasks.
- Knowledge and operating skills in additional machinery such as milling machines, grinding machines, and drilling machines are preferred
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall operations and goals of the team.

Salary - 3,000-3,500 (based on the level of experience)
