Job Title: Procurement Officer
Job Summary:
A Riyadh-based construction company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to manage the procurement of goods and services for our infrastructure projects. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the company receives the best possible value while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement process for infrastructure projects, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on market trends and pricing.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Analyze proposals and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and prices.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any disputes or issues.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
Minimum 5 years and maximum 7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in infrastructure projects.
Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
Must possess a valid Saudi driver's license.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with construction materials commonly used in infrastructure projects.
Understanding of contract law and terms.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
