Description

1. Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a tandoor section (in a restaurant or hotel).
• Culinary diploma or relevant food production certification preferred.

2. Skill Set:

• Knowledge of handling tandoor equipment (clay oven, skewers, etc.).
• Ability to prepare naan, roti, kulcha, and tandoori items like chicken, fish, kebabs.
• Prepping marinades and maintaining mise en place.
• Understanding of traditional tandoori cooking times and temperatures.

3. Hygiene & Safety:

• Trained in food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Basic knowledge of cross-contamination and allergen control.

4. Personal Traits:

• Team player with good communication skills.
• Physically fit (working with tandoors can be demanding).
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
