Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid certification in Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) and demonstrate a strong understanding of biosafety protocols and equipment performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of laboratory instruments including centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and biosafety cabinets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure calibration schedules are followed according to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Certify Biological Safety Cabinets in compliance with NSF/ANSI 49 standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and vendors to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical lab systems.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, SOPs, and institutional biosafety guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with laboratory equipment in a clinical or research environment.
• Certified in Biological Safety Cabinet field certification (e.g., NSF-accredited certification or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in GMP, GLP, or ISO 13485 environments.
• Familiarity with automated laboratory systems and data logging tools.
• OEM training or factory certification on specific equipment is a plus.
