Warehouse & Logistics Manager Job Description

At our Company, we understand that the key to success is building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, clients, and suppliers. We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistic Manager to join our team. He will coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations being accountable for the imports and exports of goods, manages inventory, warehousing operations, arrange shipments, and local transportation to ensure an efficient supply of goods. Administers an effective system that meets the organization’s targets through efficient and transparent flow of information. We expect the incumbant to be fully aware of the PV and RA envirnment in KSA especially for investigational drugs in clinical research and can initiate the process as per the SFDA requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand the business processes and objectives, and manage the drug store in compliance with company's policies and vision.
• Have full grasp on Pharmacovigilence and regulatory environment in KSA pretaining to investigational , conventional products ,and medical devices as well as herbal and nutracutical products.
• Be involved in vendors/suppliers’ communication regarding potential business proposals , services , and commercial products in full coordination with business development team and partners.
• Manage all drug store licensing requirements, all contracts & work orders ,and take active part ,with other department , upon establishing new contracts concerning service and distribution agreements.
• Establish and manage incoming and outbound shipping schedules (route planning) and advise clients regarding SFDA tracking system.
• Lead the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse strategy, policies, KPIs ,processes, and procedures and data analysis to aid and improve operational performance and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems.
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements in cooperation with the quality department and manage all health authorities’ inspections and customs clearance/shipments release.
• Ensure the storage conditions inside the warehouse comply with international standard with different products conditions according to EU guidelines & Good Practices.
• Manage & control all distributions & logistics activities in KSA for Governments and private customers to maximise performance, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Collaborate with accounting in invoicing and revenues tracking to measure the business activities on timely manner .
• Supervise expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance etc.
• Manage daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, space management goods cataloguing , logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse staff.
• negotiate technical difficulties and resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Requirements
Job Requirements

Education and/or Licensure - Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy with valid KSA MOH license
Diploma in Material handling / Logistics Management /Warehouse management is a plus

Experience
Minimum 3+ Years of experience working in Warehouse Management & Logistics in Drug Store / Pharmaceutical Industry in KSA.
Knowledge of PV and RA in KSA is mega advantage.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

• Excellent understanding of warehouse management systems , PV , RA ,importation & logistic procedures.
• Good Finance/Accounting Background.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls preferably using ERP system.
• Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Should be a team player as well as a team leader.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people orientation skills.
• Available to work extended hours.
