Fit-Out Project Manager (Civil Engineer)

Job Overview:
Astrum is seeking a highly skilled Fit-Out Project Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering to lead and manage all aspects of interior fit-out projects. This role requires expertise in construction management, site supervision, and project execution, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering painting, flooring, and woodwork services while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the execution of all fit-out projects, including painting, flooring, and woodwork.

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

Conduct structural assessments and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.

Supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and high-quality work.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to streamline project execution.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to mitigate potential project challenges.

Optimize project workflows, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Monitor project progress, address technical challenges, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Implement sustainable and eco-friendly practices in fit-out solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Required) or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing fit-out projects, particularly in commercial and residential interiors.

Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural engineering principles.

Familiarity with painting, flooring, and woodwork installation techniques.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management software.

Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
