We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in structural design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and optimizing structural designs for various projects while integrating BIM methodologies to ensure design accuracy and efficiency. With 5+ years of relevant experience, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative structural solutions for projects in sectors like commercial, residential or industrial.

Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and optimize structural designs using engineering principles and industry best practices.

Perform detailed structural analysis to ensure that designs meet safety, load, and performance standards.

Work on the design of structures using materials like steel, concrete, and composite materials in compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SBC, ASCE, AISC, Eurocode). Ensure that all structural designs comply with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.

Review and validate design outputs and calculations, ensuring the accuracy of designs produced. Create and manage analytical 3D models using STAAD Pro.

Design structural connections using Idea Statica and RAM connection.

Participate in project meetings and design review sessions to discuss design challenges, propose solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design. Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, Robot, Idea Statica and RAM connection. Moderate proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD. Strong understanding of building codes, structural standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience in the design of structural steel, and composite structures.
