Civil or Mechanical Estimation Engineer – Specialized in Etimad Platform

Responsible for preparing and analyzing bids and project pricing according to engineering standards and the requirements of the Etimad platform, ensuring accurate estimations and maximizing financial returns for the company.

Responsibilities:
Pricing and Cost Estimation
• Analyzes technical specifications, drawings, and documents for tenders available on the Etimad platform.
• Prepares Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and compare proposed prices with actual costs.
Handling the Etimad Platform
• Reviews tenders and analyze technical and financial requirements.
• Prepares and submit technical and financial proposals electronically via Etimad.
Cost & Risk Analysis
• Assesses factors affecting project costs, such as raw materials, labor, and equipment.
• Evaluates potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Provides financial reports outlining tender feasibility and expected profitability.
Team Coordination and Cooperation
• Collaborates with procurement teams to secure competitive quotations fr. suppliers.
• Communicates with engineering and planning teams to understand project requirements.
• Works with finance teams to ensure budget availability for tenders.
Reporting & Recommendation
• Prepares detailed reports on tenders and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Maintains a database of cost records to improve future pricing strategies.

Requirements/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimation and tendering.
Strong knowledge and experience with Etimad platform and government tendering procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and Primavera
Excellent analytical skills and accuracy in preparing financial and technical studies.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Bid Analysis and tender evaluation.
Negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
Financial and engineering report preparation with high accuracy.
Familiarity with Saudi government procurement regulations.
