Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT SharePoint Administrator with 5 years of experience as a minimum. to manage and support our SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our SharePoint sites while providing support to end-users and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities
5 years of experience as a minimum in :

- Site Collection Management:
- Create, configure, and manage site collections and subsites.
- Ensure proper permissions, security settings, and content management practices.

- User Management:
- Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Provide support and training to end-users on SharePoint functionalities.

- Content Management:
- Oversee document libraries, lists, and workflows.
- Implement content types, metadata, and governance policies.


- Backup and Recovery:
- Schedule and perform regular backups of SharePoint data.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans.

- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor site performance and usage metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain optimal system performance.

- Updates and Maintenance:
- Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to the SharePoint environment.
- Ensure compatibility with third-party applications and solutions.

- Custom Development:
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement custom SharePoint solutions.
- Manage SharePoint apps and integrations.

- User Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for user support inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation.

- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure adherence to organizational compliance and security policies.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive information.

- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Update the knowledge base for troubleshooting and best practices.


Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a minimum.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server.
- Experience with PowerApps, PowerShell scripting and SharePoint development tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
