Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong focus on DCS , PLC, SCADA, HMI, and VFD systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system integration and extensive knowledge of industrial communication protocols.


Key Responsibilities

- System Design and Configuration: Design and configure DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to meet process needs while ensuring scalability and seamless integration with other systems.
- System Integration: Ensure effective integration of automation systems with external and internal platforms, including databases, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and ERP systems.
- DCS and Automation Implementation: Develop, program, and optimize DCS architectures, ensuring reliability and high performance of industrial processes.
- Project Management: Lead automation projects from planning to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Communication Protocols: Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and BACnet to ensure smooth data exchange between automation components.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide technical support for all automation systems, implementing corrective actions and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure continuous operation.
- Documentation and Training: Prepare system specifications, manuals, and training materials, providing training sessions for operators and maintenance teams.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all automation activities adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, operational efficiency, and plant reliability.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or related field).
- Extensive experience with DCS systems (design, implementation, and maintenance).
- Expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and VFD systems.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and BACnet.
- Siemens certification preferred.
- Proven track record of successful automation projects (please provide samples of past projects).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
