Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the project management team to ensure efficient project controls and will be responsible for creating insightful dashboards using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Monitor project progress, identify any delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project planning and control.
• Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards using Power BI to visualize project data and performance metrics.
• Conduct regular project status reviews and provide detailed reports to management.
• Implement Lean construction principles to enhance project efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong knowledge of project management principles.
• Expertise in creating dashboards and data visualization using Power BI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Lean construction principles is a plus.
