Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management of fitness equipment and related products. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Inventory:
o Unload incoming shipments of fitness equipment and verify contents against purchase orders.
o Inspect delivered goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
o Accurately receive and record inventory in the warehouse management system (WMS).
o Stock inventory in designated storage locations.
o Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Order Fulfillment:
o Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
o Prepare shipments for delivery, including packaging and labeling.
o Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
o Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
• Shipping and Logistics:
o Prepare shipping documents and labels.
o Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
o Load and unload trucks.
o Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
• Warehouse Maintenance and Organization:
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
o Ensure proper storage and handling of fitness equipment.
o Dispose of waste and recycling materials.
o Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Safety and Compliance:
o Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
o Use proper lifting techniques and safety equipment.
o Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
o Comply with all applicable regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Other Duties:
o Assist with special projects as needed.
o Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a related industry.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including fitness equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and 1 organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with fitness equipment or similar products.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles.

Physical Demands:
• This position requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
