Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Civil Engineering Consultant located in Jeddah. The Civil Engineering Consultant will be responsible for providing expert consulting on infrastructure projects, overseeing various civil engineering tasks, conducting geotechnical engineering analyses, and ensuring that quality control measures are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise civil engineering teams to ensure project standards and timelines are met.
Perform geotechnical analysis and recommend solutions based on findings.
Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to ensure project success.
Assist in project management duties, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:

Proven experience in civil engineering consulting, specifically on infrastructure projects.
Experience with geotechnical engineering and site assessments.
At least 5-7 years of professional experience in civil engineering and project management.
Experience in overseeing and managing quality control measures in construction and engineering projects.
Strong experience in project management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects.
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, and other modeling tools).
Knowledge of geotechnical analysis software such as PLAXIS or GEO5.
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
Deep understanding of quality control protocols and standards in civil engineering projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken) is a must for effective communication with local teams and stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with clients, contractors, and other engineers.
Desirable:

Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
