qualifications:
• minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical bim modeling and modular construction.
• bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• advanced proficiency with bim software, especially revit, autocad mep, and navisworks.
• extensive experience designing electrical systems, including lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, for large-scale projects.
• strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• knowledge of modular construction practices and how they apply to electrical systems.
• ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
key responsibilities:
• lead the development and implementation of electrical systems design using bim software (e.g., revit, autocad mep, navisworks) for modular construction projects.
• create 3d models and detailed electrical designs, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated, efficient electrical designs.
• conduct clash detection and resolve issues to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall building design.
• ensure that all electrical systems comply with relevant codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• apply modular construction techniques to optimize electrical designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
• provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and bim technicians.
• review and manage the accuracy of bim models, electrical drawings, and documentation.
• support the project team throughout the project lifecycle, from design through construction and commissioning.
