Employment: Full Time

Required Experience: 3 – 5 Years


Responsibilities:
A procurement engineer responsible for finding products, materials, and services for the company at the best value regarding quality and price with the underlying duty of meeting budget constraint to increase profitability include assisting the analysis and preparation of contracts and working closely with upper management teams as well as outside vendors/suppliers to meet project requirements.

Direct Role:
• Identify suppliers/subcontractors of products, materials, and services.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers/subcontractors such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
• Make sure to purchase materials and services as per approved cost & budget.
• Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
• Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered
• Follow up with finance to schedule/process payment to suppliers as well as subcontractors
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive
• Attend meetings with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company
• Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements and update delivery of materials.
• Make sure on time delivery to meet projects deadlines.
• Expedite all materials delivery with vendors/ suppliers.
• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Track inventory and restock goods when needed
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
• Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
• Perform any related duties as requested by management.
• Create data base for approved vendors, subcontractors



Required Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement engineer , Supply Chain or any related field.

Required Knowledge:
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in procurement, project management and fire sectors.
• Strong understanding of business processes.
• Experience in logistics and shipping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Highly developed attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
