Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer or Cloud Administrator to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and help drive the company’s cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions and infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance, cost efficiency, and security, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Set up and manage cloud-based networking, storage, and virtual machines, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Automate and streamline cloud infrastructure tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement and manage cloud security policies, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and applications.
• Optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effective scaling and utilization of cloud resources.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to recommend new solutions and improvements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtual machines, containers and serverless architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and identity management (e.g., IAM, firewalls).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator)..
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-based storage solutions.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity within cloud environments.
