Description

Position: Supermarkets Operations Manager
Salary Range: 4,000 - 8,000 SAR per month, with additional commission based on achieving sales targets and gross profit goals.
Location: Jizan

Key Responsibilities

Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers to identify quality products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms while maintaining high product standards.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Inventory and Stock Management:
- Oversee inventory levels using modern inventory management tools to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Implement demand forecasting techniques to anticipate customer needs and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Establish and enforce proper stock rotation policies to prevent spoilage and ensure fresh products.

Operational Excellence:
- Monitor and improve day-to-day supermarket operations, focusing on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular process evaluations to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Integrate technology solutions such as automated systems for checkout and inventory tracking.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high-performance levels.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovative problem-solving.
- Provide ongoing development opportunities for employees to enhance skills and knowledge.

Customer Service and Sales Strategy:
- Collaborate with the sales team to create promotions and campaigns that align with customer needs.
- Monitor customer feedback and adjust store operations to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the supermarket meets evolving customer expectations.

Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for various operational areas, including procurement and inventory.
- Monitor expenses regularly and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Ensure all financial targets are achieved without compromising quality.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure the supermarket complies with local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide training to staff on safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

Reporting and Strategic Planning:
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and budget adherence for senior management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, increase profitability, and achieve long-term business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:-
- Proven experience in supermarket operations or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in inventory management, vendor relations, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences within the FMCG sector.
- Indian Nationals are Preferred
- Proficiency in Arabic, English, Hindi, and Malayalam is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
