Air Compressor Technician
QUALIFICATIONS:
 A diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, either a board passer or not. Additional Certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or related fields is also advantageous.
• Experience with compressors
 8 – 10 years of hands-on experience working with screw compressors (preferred with Atlas Copco or Ingersoll Rand )
 Familiar with various brands and models ( e.g., Ingersoll rand, Atlas Copco, Kaesar, etc)
• Mechanical & Electrical Skills
 Ability to diagnose, Troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical & electrical systems of air compressors
 Understanding of hydraulic systems, Pneumatic control, and electrical system design
 Has enough experience with overhauling oil-injected screw elements for various brands
• Knowledge of compressor technology
 Experience working in compliance with safety standards such as OSHA
 Understanding of safe handling of pressurized systems and hazardous material
• Preventive maintenance skills
 Professional in conducting routine maintenance of various brands of air compressors
 Ability to identify early signs of failure and recommended corrective actions
Troubleshooting skills
 Experience diagnosing issues overhauling, air leaks, or low pressure
 Ability to use diagnostic tools like pressure gauges, Multimeters, Vibration analysis
• Communication Skills
 Ability to communicate clearly with clients explaining complex technical issues in simple terms
 Report writing skills to document service activities and diagnostic finding
• Field work experience
 Willingness to travel for on-site maintenance, Installation, and repair
 Ability to work in the industrial environment such as factories, Plants, or construction site
• Software knowledge
 Familiar with compressor soft wear and ability to analyse data from Scada, Plus or any other similar system
