Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to oversee safety compliance and ensure the highest standards of health and safety at our substation construction project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and implement risk assessments, safety toolbox talks, and method statements for all site activities.
• Monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, preparing comprehensive reports and corrective action plans.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions to workers and staff.
• Ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to enforce safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including permits, logs, and compliance records.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Certifications in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably on substation projects.
• Expertise in preparing and implementing risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks.
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
