Job Description: Coating Quality Controller for Aramco
Position Overview: The Coating Quality Controller is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of coating applications on various projects within Aramco. This role involves monitoring coating processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and Aramco specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality control procedures for coating applications.
Ensure that all coating materials and processes meet Aramco's specifications and industry standards.
Inspection and Testing:

Conduct regular inspections of coating applications to verify adherence to quality standards.
Perform tests on coating materials and finished surfaces to assess their quality and performance.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Prepare and submit quality control reports to project management and relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration:

Work closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and support to ensure proper application techniques and material usage.
Training and Development:

Train and mentor site personnel on coating quality standards and best practices.
Stay updated on the latest coating technologies and industry trends to enhance quality control processes.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards related to coating applications.
Participate in audits and inspections conducted by Aramco or third-party organizations.
Qualifications and Experience Required:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control, specifically in coating applications within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries.
Experience with surface preparation, coating application techniques, and inspection methods.
Certifications:

Relevant certifications in coating inspection (e.g., NACE, SSPC) are preferred.
Aramco approval as a Coating Quality Controller is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of coating materials, application methods, and quality control processes.
Attention to Detail:

Excellent observational skills to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
