Description

The Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems within the dairy/food manufacturing facility. This role involves performing routine checks, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical components.

Responsibilities:

- Routine Checks and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, components, and equipment. Identify and report any unusual findings or potential issues.

- Preventive Maintenance: Implement and follow the established preventive maintenance plan for electrical systems. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

- Maintenance Job Orders: Receive and process maintenance job orders from concerned departments. Prioritize tasks and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion.

- Parts Replacement: Replace and exchange defective electrical parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of parts used and inventory levels.

- Troubleshooting and Analysis: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions. Analyze system behavior to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate hands-on experience with circuit breakers, relays, contactors, motors, control panels, pumps, sensors, and proximity switches.

- Documentation: Read and understand Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), maintenance manuals, and manufacturing drawings.

- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to access and transport equipment and materials.


Qualifications:

- Minimum 7 years of experience in the dairy/food manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, theories, and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for emergency calls
- Open for Overtime
