Description

• Run tenders, evaluate bids, and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical
• factors. Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitor the quality of service provided.
• Save contract files and use them as a reference for the future.
• Maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers. Manage and motivate procurement
staff.
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as supply chain, planning, marketing, IT and sales, and customers.
• Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery
• schedules, and quality.
• Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or
• exceeded. Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
• Develop and implement a procurement strategy. Analyze data and make reports and statistics on spending and saving. Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.
• Attend meetings and trade conferences. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers. Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Evaluate and compare products and services to determine which best meets the organization’s needs.
• Oversee raw materials or other goods inventory and place orders when supplies run low.
• Propose creative methodologies for process improvement, technical enhancements, and cost
• savings as part of the proposal management.
• Create, proofread, correct, and dispatch quality bid responses within agreed deadlines.
• Ensure bids are complete in all respects, audited, and approved.
• Prepare pre- and post-bid submission presentations.
• Manage virtual teams and collect input from several partners (Sales/ Marketing/Finance legal).

Note: Applicant should have only Mechanical Engineering Degree with experience in Saudi Arabia
