Job Title: Firefighter Instructor (Native Arabic speaker - Proficiency in English).
Location: Dammam City, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Firefighter Instructor to join one of our institutions’ team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be a native Arabic speaker with professional proficiency in English, capable of delivering high-quality training programs to aspiring and active firefighters. This role involves designing and conducting training sessions, evaluating performance, and ensuring that trainees are well-equipped to handle firefighting and rescue operations effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in firefighting techniques, rescue
operations, and fire prevention strategies.
• Conduct classroom instruction and hands-on practical training sessions.
• Evaluate trainees’ knowledge, skills, and performance through assessments and drills.
• Ensure all training complies with national and international fire safety standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of firefighting tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to trainees, ensuring they meet the required standards of
professionalism and competence.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of training materials, manuals, and course outlines.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety protocols during training exercises.
• Collaborate with fire departments and other organizations to align training with operational
requirements.
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance training techniques and
methodologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience as an operational firefighter at supervisory level
• Proven experience as a firefighter with advanced knowledge of firefighting practices.
• Previous experience as an instructor or trainer is highly desirable.
• Instructional experience, ideally in a health and safety related environment
• Native Arabic speaker with professional proficiency in English.
• Certified Fire Instructor (e.g., NFPA Fire Instructor I/II) or equivalent qualification.
• Physical fitness and the ability to demonstrate firefighting techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s fire safety regulations and standards is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi residency or citizenship.
• Professional assessor in the workplace qualification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with a
wide variety of people e.g., staff, clients, delegates.
• Proficient working knowledge of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint.
• Driving License.
• Demonstrates a clear commitment to providing first-class customer care.
• Excellent team player with the ability to work unsupervised when required.
• Able to effectively take instructions and apply accordingly in a fast paced and demanding
environment.
• Maintains a professional appearance which appropriately reflects the role and the company's
image.
• Ability to remain calm and assertive during busy periods when dealing with challenging
situations.
• Discreet with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Has international certifications in the field of specialization.
• Three years of experience with vocational training or adult education.
• Strong teaching skills.
• Verbal communication abilities.
• Related course qualification requirements.


Preferred Skills:

• Experience with simulation-based training and modern training tools.
• Ability to design customized training programs to meet specific organizational needs.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and guide trainees.
