Job Description:
We are looking for a hardworking duct man to assist our staff with basic duct work installations and repairs. Performing tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor to include assisting in working on duct work systems. This will include assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of ducting systems used anywhere for HVAC air distribution system.
To ensure success as a duct man, you should have excellent physical fitness, a strong desire to learn, and detailed knowledge of ducting techniques.
Duct man Responsibilities:
• General assistance to the supervisor for all types of ducting work which will include assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of ducts, air outlets fire dampers fire and smoke dampers systems used anywhere for air distribution system.
• Assisting in general ducting work and preparation as directed.
• As directed by the Site Supervisor to assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries.
• Undertaking tasks to assisting the group leader generally.
• Liaising with Line Manager and other site workers and performing jobs as and when they are required in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits.
• Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole.
• Adhere to all organization policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility.
Duct man Requirements:
• High school diploma.
• 4 years of proven work experience as a duct man .
• Detailed knowledge of HVAC equipment and techniques.
• Good physical fitness.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Iqama transferrable is a must
