Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Pool Operator/Technician to manage the maintenance and repair of swimming pools and spas. The ideal candidate will ensure that all pools are clean, safe, and operational, providing excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Test and adjust pool water chemistry, including chlorine and pH levels, to maintain safe and balanced water quality.
- Handle and store pool chemicals safely and in compliance with regulations.

- Inspect, maintain, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters and skimmers, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.

- Ensure all pools meet health and safety standards, including proper signage and accessible safety equipment.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain records of compliance.

- Skim debris from the pool surface, vacuum the pool floor, and brush pool walls and tiles.
- Clean and maintain pool decks and surrounding areas.

- Identify and repair leaks, cracks, and other structural issues in pools.
- Perform minor repairs on pool equipment and report major issues to supervisors.

- Provide excellent customer service by advising clients on proper pool care and maintenance.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.

- Maintain detailed records of chemical levels, maintenance activities, and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pool operation or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a pool technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of pool chemicals and their safe handling.
- Ability to perform minor repairs on pool systems.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
