_Job Title:_ Quantity Surveyor (QS)

_Job Summary:_

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be responsible for managing costs related to construction projects. This includes preparing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

_Key Responsibilities:_

1. _Cost Estimation:_ Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
2. _Tendering:_ Assist in preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities and contract conditions.
3. _Cost Control:_ Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and optimizing resource allocation.
4. _Budgeting:_ Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
5. _Contract Administration:_ Administer contracts, including negotiating with contractors and resolving disputes.
6. _Risk Management:_ Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with company risk management policies.
7. _Collaboration:_ Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
8. _Reporting:_ Prepare regular reports on project costs, progress, and forecasts.

_Requirements:_

_Education:_

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

_Certifications:_

- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB)

_Experience:_

- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction management.

_Skills:_

- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and quantity surveying software.
