Description

Al-Qahtani PCK Pipe is hiring a qualified Welding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in welding engineering within the pipe manufacturing or steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor welding activities in the production/welding department.
Develop and implement welding procedures (e.g., Submerged Arc Welding) in line with API 5L, API 2B, and other standards.
Set up and develop manufacturing procedure qualification tests on pipe mills.
Maintain and record welding and repair procedures and welder qualifications.
Monitor and report on continuous improvement of welding processes.
Ensure welding output meets production and quality targets.
Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions for welding quality issues.
Coordinate with Maintenance for welding-related quality matters.
Qualifications:

College degree or higher in Materials, Welding, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in the pipe manufacturing or steel industry.
Strong knowledge of welding procedures and industry standards (e.g., API 5L, API 2B).
At least 3 years of experience in a welding engineering role.
