PURPOSE

? Working with the Logistics Manager, Logistics Team Leaders of Inventory, Freight, Clearance & other Supervisors to monitor the logistics operations activities of various Projects with regard to requirements of the Organization for various Projects.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Logistics Management:

? Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods and services.
? Ensure the smooth transportation of products, materials, and goods across the supply chain network.
? Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes.
? Lead the optimization of transport routes, modes, and methods to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
? Ensure compliance with legal regulations and health and safety standards in logistics.

2. Warehouse and Inventory Management:
? Lead warehouse management, ensuring efficient space utilization and inventory accuracy.
? Manage the inventory control process to optimize stock levels and reduce waste or excess inventory.
? Implement technology solutions to improve real-time tracking of inventory and automate processes where possible.
? Knowledge of Oracle an added advantage

3. Import and Export Operations:
? Oversee all aspects of import and export logistics, ensuring compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and customs procedures.
? Develop and implement strategies to streamline import and export processes, minimize costs, and improve operational efficiency.
? Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods across borders.
? Stay updated on international trade regulations, including duties, tariffs, and sanctions, and ensure the company is compliant with changing trade laws and practices.
? Implement risk management strategies for dealing with potential disruptions in global trade and transportation, such as political changes, natural disasters, or economic instability.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
? Ensure Physical Inventory is maintained to tally with ERP Software for complete Logs available
? Supervise the Movement of Shipments in the Chemical Warehouse
? Liaise with Audit and Finance Division for the Inventory Management process to be tallied on quarterly basis
? Monitor the daily activities of Team Leaders who are responsible for Freight, Inventory & Clearance

WORKING CONDITION
? 70% in the office and 30% in the field within Offices & Warehouses alongside Metal Tech Factory.
Minimum Competence Requirement


? Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration
? At least 5 years in a leadership role.
? Proven track record of managing logistics and SCM in a fast-paced, complex environment.
? Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
? Proficient in logistics and supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
? Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and develop cost-efficient strategies.
? Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
