Looking for HSE Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety monitoring of construction activity such as erection and installation of structural, piping and mechanical materials with lifting equipment use like mechanical crawler crane and mobile crane.

Attending weekly safety coordination meeting.

Daily site safety inspection for the monitoring of unsafe act and unsafe condition.

Educating worker for proper use of personal protective equipment.

Assist and evaluate the foreman and supervisor in conducting their daily tool box meeting and safety task analysis.

Ensure availability of fire extinguisher at all sites.

Monthly inspection and color coding of tools, equipment, and etc.

Familiar with the relevant safety and health legislation which affects the types of construction work being carried out

Identify hazards and assess risks on construction sites.

Conducted activities to instigate and retain interest of employees.

Ensure that the company has, at all times, the capability and resources to operate safely.

Coordinates activities relating to safety at all working locations and construction groups.

Monitor safety standards and audit activities and facilities.

Supervised and appraised accident investigations.

Reviewed procedure for compliance with applicable laws and safety codes

Secured and renewed specific permits for plants and other specific works such as lifting permit, hot work permit, lock out/tag out permit, confined space entry permit.
