We are seeking a Value Engineering/Value Management Expert with extensive experience in process engineering to optimize value for mega projects within the mining, aluminum, or phosphate industries. The ideal candidate will employ systematic methodologies to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Value Optimization: Utilize value engineering techniques to analyze and improve project functions, ensuring the delivery of necessary outcomes at the lowest possible cost
• Project Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of mega projects to identify areas for cost reduction and value enhancement, focusing on mining, aluminum, and phosphate sectors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to implement value management strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
• Methodology Development: Develop and refine value engineering methodologies tailored to specific project needs, ensuring systematic and organized approaches are followed.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on value engineering findings and recommendations, presenting them to senior management and project teams.
Qualifications
• Experience: Proven track record in process engineering with a focus on value optimization for large-scale projects in the mining, aluminum, or phosphate industries.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of value engineering principles and methodologies, including life cycle costing and functional analysis
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
