Sub Station INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Minimum 8 years experience in substation as a leading supervisor role.
2. Worked on the indoor / outdoor substation project of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for the installation of various electrical equipment and panels of substation rated up to 380 kV.
3. Independently handle the site, work and manpower efficiently.
4. To ensure that work is going through according to electrical layout diagram with its proper specification.
5. Knowledge of SEC requirements and procedure to work at site.
6. Supervise the Installation of GIS, Power transformer under OEM supervision.
7. Supervise the Installation & Wiring of different types of electrical panels such as L.C.C., Switchgears, Control & Protection panel etc.
8. Installation, Termination & Testing of 13.8 kV Switchgear, Oil filled Pad Mounted Transformer, LV Circuit breaker, LV Auto Transfer Switch, LV MCC, LV Power panels and LV Motors.
9. Termination on power & control cables for all substation equipment’s and panels.
10. Maintaining all site records and variation of the work.
11. Termination of Low voltage & Medium voltage cable
12. Megger of Power cables and DC HI pot testing of Power cables.
13. Experience in Maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of high & low voltage electrical equipment installed at Substation.
14. Installation of Fire alarm panel, Smoke detectors and Fire Detectors in Substation projects
15. Train electrical technicians on general of electrical systems and awareness of safe working practices.
16. Experience in cable tray installation, Cable pulling and testing of cables & Electrical equipment.
17. Experience in installation and laying of grounding system.
