The Project Manager will serve as principal staff member for all activities at the project site. Responsible for all technical matters in support of company projects/ contracts/ activities.
The project manager, operating within agreed reporting structures, is responsible for:
Designing and applying appropriate project management standards process
Managing the production of the required deliverables
Planning and monitoring the project
Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments
Liaison with appointed project assurance representatives to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project
Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
Adopting and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards
Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project
Managing project administration
Conducting a project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed
Preparing any follow-on action recommendations
Determine the number of workers required for the project
Make a schedule to supply the necessary materials for the project according to the time plan
Ability to evaluate project workers
The ability to process and approve invoices.
Prepare & Monitor the complete project schedule, monthly work/invoice tracker sheet, and weekly reports on the project progress etc.
(2) Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field.
(3) Experience
At least ten (10) years overall experience, and minimum 3 - 4 years' experience as Project Manager.
Ability to liaise with customer and/ or clients.
Must have presentable appearance and mannerism and strong leadership.
Experience in Industrial construction projects, with coordination between Civil & MEP teams.
Detailed awareness of Complete Civil & MEP construction activities.
Cost Engineer/Estimator
Position: Cost Engineer/Estimator
Purpose: The Cost Engineer/Estimator supports the Ulven Forging team and is accountable for the complete estimating life‐cycle: Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Quote, to Sales.
Responsibility: This role coordinates, directs and leads estimating efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of projects and programs to ensure Ulven Forging meets customer expectations and manufacturing requirements.
Position Summary:
Terms & Condition.
1- Define Cost Estimate Scope: Define the project scope, time period, phases to be estimated, communication channels, and establish any boundaries for estimates or project requirements. Estimates are typically completed in 24‐48 hours.
2- Define Assumptions or Constraints: Identify any schedule or budget constraints, and how those will be resolved.
3- Develop Cost Element Structure: Identify everything defined in the scope to be costed.
4- Collect and Monitor Data: Collect and monitor data, manage risks, identify (if necessary) contingency plan, control changes and communication. Measure and report on progress.
5- Develop Cost Estimating Relationships: Use cost data to develop formulas/equations entered into the cost model. Formulas/Equations will be the basis for estimating costs as a function of Ulven systems and service level.
6- Document Approach: Provide documentation for each cost element, indicating sources of data, assumptions used and any other methodology or analysis.
7- Customer Review: Ensure that all expected costs have been properly presented to Customer for Review/Approval/Acceptance of the estimate.
8- Finalize Cost Estimate: Finalize the cost estimate. Maintain all files, data related to this project.
