Description

We are looking for experienced and skilled Technicians/Installers to join our team. If you have expertise in IT infrastructure installation and maintenance, this opportunity is for you!

Job Requirements:
UTP Expertise
✅ Termination of UTP cables (e.g., RJ45 connectors).
✅ Patch panel installation and proper cable management.
✅ Testing UTP cables for continuity and performance using a cable tester.
✅ Knowledge of structured cabling standards (e.g., TIA/EIA).

Fiber Optic Expertise
✅ Termination of fiber optic cables in patch panels (LC, SC, etc.).
✅ Proficiency in fusion splicing of fiber optic cables.
✅ OTDR testing to evaluate fiber optic links and detect faults.
✅ Attenuation and insertion loss testing for quality assurance.
✅ Knowledge of fiber optic connector types, color coding, and standards.

CCTV Installation
✅ Installation and configuration of CCTV cameras (IP and analog).
✅ Knowledge of video management systems (VMS).
✅ Familiarity with PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology for IP cameras.
✅ Routing and managing UTP and fiber cables for CCTV systems.

Technical Tools and Equipment Knowledge
✅ Proficiency with tools like cable testers, punch-down tools, crimping tools, fusion splicers, and OTDR meters.
✅ Understanding of patch panel labeling and documentation.
✅ Ability to interpret technical blueprints and network diagrams.

General Skills
✅ Troubleshooting and resolving network cable and connectivity issues.
✅ Familiarity with installation safety standards and best practices.
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✅ Willingness to travel for on-site projects if required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
Certifications: BICSI Installer, FOA CFOT, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Education: Diploma or certification in IT, electronics, or a related field.
