Description

Minimum of 5 years of experience
Be able to analyse, programme and sequence the construction of concrete/steel structures
Be able to research and develop construction methodologies suitable for varying project activities
Prepare logistics strategies (cranes, hoists, delivery routes etc.)
Scheme and manage the production of 2D sequencing drawings, 3D models and 4D sequencing
models (prepared by the VDC/BIM team)
Autonomously run the technical aspects of a project including Client, Contractor and Design Team
coordination
Understand the commercial aspects of a project (contracts, invoicing, variations etc.)
Produce accurate and high quality work
Be able to work to timelines
Structural engineering background / exposure – understanding of structural load paths
Construction exposure working for a Contractor
Pre-construction exposure with respect to construction planning and strategy
Understanding of typical temporary works schemes used in construction
On-site experience as part of a team delivering complex structures
