About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in implementing DevSecOps practices within agile environments, with a proven ability to ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage automated security solutions for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the seamless integration of security practices in the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and resilient software releases.
• Drive the adoption of agile practices, leveraging extensive experience to enhance the team’s agility and responsiveness to changing business requirements.
• Design and enforce policies for secure cloud and infrastructure deployments, applying best practices for secure architecture and configuration.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviews, providing actionable insights to mitigate risks early.
• Manage security incident response processes, leading investigations and mitigation efforts as necessary.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect and respond to incidents efficiently.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort, focusing on security and compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends, proactively suggesting improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles, with a strong focus on agility and secure software delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and experience securing cloud-native applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and a proven track record of delivering in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Proficiency in modern DevOps tools and practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI), and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of security best practices, tools, and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST, DevSecOps principles).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and security automation tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus
