---Job Description---

This position is accountable for leading preservation work for materials at site, especially equipment (vessel, heat exchanger, pump, compressor, package equipment, etc.) under the direction of the Mechanical Manager to maintain materials good condition and ready for handover to the client, meeting with the schedule, quality, and safety requirements. He shall monitor the subcontractor’s work plan and work performance, and report of it to the Mechanical Manager daily for remedying the work.



1. Receive the instruction of the job to be performed as his duties from the Mechanical Manager

2. Review the latest status of “For Construction Drawings” and “Specifications for Construction”, and ensure that the same latest Drawings and Specifications are in use by the subcontractor, and if not make sure the subcontractor collects the latest issues

3. Review the latest status of Vendor documents and ensure that all materials are in line with the Vendor documents.

4. Report of the document status to the Mechanical Manager

5. Attend meetings directed by the Mechanical Manager

6. Monitor subcontractor’s work and direct for correction, and report it to the Mechanical Manager

7. Coordinate interfacing work with other discipline supervisors from civil, structure, piping to instrument, and electrical

8. Verify the preservation report prepared by the subcontractor

9. Attend inspections with QC

10. Report of nonconformance matters to the Mechanical Manager

11. Punch listing incomplete work and expedite punching-out

12. Prepare a report of the work supervised

13. Perform other than above, entrusted by the Mechanical Manager
