Description

We are looking for a Cost Controller/Accountant for our Restaurant Chain in Riyadh :
Minimum 5 years experience in Restaurant field
Must have bachelor degree
Must have below experience
Forecasting & Budgeting: Developing financial models and preparing budgets & rolling forecasts to assist management in evaluating CAPEX and OPEX expenditures, aligning with expansion strategies and margin enhancement goals.
Expenditure Reporting: Collaborating with departments to ensure accurate and unbiased reporting of expenditures.
Budget Monitoring: Monitoring adherence to budgets, reporting on variances, and recommending corrective actions in coordination with stakeholders.
Performance Analysis: Conducting detailed business performance analyses for individual units, highlighting financial and budgetary issues.
Policy Enhancement: Reviewing and enhancing financial policies and procedures, and preparing recommendations for improvements.
Variance Investigation: Investigating significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Cost Control Guidelines: Provided guidelines for standard cost-control approaches to support strategic business decisions.
Sales productivity and gross margin analysis
Profitability assessments at segment and business unit levels
Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborated with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, providing insights into financial performance and recommendations for improvement.
Doing food/beverages costing for recipe and budgeting and forecasting activities
Check menu pricing on the system and ensure the correct prices are loaded
Report ongoing variances resulted on wastages, pilferages, obsolescence
Update and track item monthly average cost and review COGS
Posting inventory adjustments for restaurant and warehouse level
Preparation of feasibility study for New Stores
Manage closing of books and preparation of Cost Control Reports as per company standard.
