Urgent Requirement for Safety Officer for Fire and Safety Company

Job description:
Ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within our fire installation projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of safety standards and practices in the fire protection industry, specifically within KSA.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with KSA regulatory standards.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification at various project sites.
Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
Organize safety training sessions for employees, including fire safety, emergency response, and first-aid training.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Maintain safety records, including training logs, incident reports, and inspection checklists.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to address safety concerns and ensure that safety objectives are met throughout each project.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within the fire fighting industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification or an equivalent safety qualification.
Knowledge of KSA safety regulations and standards, including civil defense and fire safety codes.
Strong understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification, and accident investigation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing safety reports and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and interact with team members.
