BUYER

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
2. At least 3-5 years in the industry with previous experience in Procurement,
3. Knowledge of contract management and legal awareness.

Purpose of the Job:

1. Set up full supplier selection process, create supplier Contract and manage Contract execution.
2. Deploy commodities strategy.
3. Ensure project execution in line with Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives.
4. Support supplier Panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement).

Main Responsibility:

1. Set up full supplier selection process, create supplier Contract and manage Contract execution.
2. Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers.
3. Lead project negotiation.
4. Monitor Procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development).
5. Ensure work package sheet commitment respect.
6. Prepare Business Award.
7. Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
8. Manage Contracting activities.
9. Manage Supplier Contract execution and coordinate project with all m?tiers.
10. Ensure the on-time delivery and quality are secured especially during the ramp-up phase of the project.

Support Commodity Strategy:
1. Consolidate the commodity needs, inputs.
2. Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
3.Provide imputes to build differentiation.
4. Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase.
5. Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
6. Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving.
7. Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.

Build Supplier Relationship:

1. Support global supplier panel relationship.
2. Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances).
3. Measure the supplier's performance and develop them in coordination with supplier Quality Team
4. Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan
5. Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager
6. Monitor Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations
7. Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
