Summary :

The Fire Alarm System Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm systems. This individual should have extensive experience in working with various Notifier/Simplex/Esser/Gent systems. The engineer should have a strong understanding of fire alarm principles, codes, and regulations. They should be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems to ensure their proper functioning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with team members and clients.



Responsibilities :



Design and install fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are in proper working order.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems, including sensors and control panels.
Upgrade and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure compatibility with new technologies and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for fire alarm systems, including repairs and replacements.
Provide technical support and training to end-users and technicians on proper operation of fire alarm systems.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems into building infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in fire alarm technology and best practices.
Prepare reports, documentation, and records related to fire alarm systems.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related field.
Professional certification in fire alarm systems, such as NICET or NFPA.
03 to 05 years of experience in fire alarm system engineering.
In-depth knowledge of Notifier/Simplex/Esser/Gent fire alarm systems.
Strong understanding of fire alarm codes and regulations.
Proficiency in various fire alarm testing equipment and software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
