Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer (Specialist 1) to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in our oil, gas, and industrial projects. The role involves conducting safety audits, managing risk assessments, and providing training to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement HSE policies and conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Lead safety training programs, including H2S safety and emergency response drills.
• Manage H2S safety protocols, ensuring proper use of detection systems and equipment.
• Investigate incidents and provide reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to enforce safety measures and build a culture of safety.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience post-NEBOSH certification.
• Transferable Iqama is required.
• Strong understanding of H2S safety and emergency response protocols.
• Good communication and training skills; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
