Job Description:
As a Firefighting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of fire protection systems in various types of buildings and facilities. You will collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure all designs meet safety codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, fire hydrants, fire pumps, etc.) according to local and international standards (NFPA, IBC, etc.).
- Develop detailed drawings and technical specifications using CAD software.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for fire protection systems.
- Ensure designs comply with fire safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with other disciplines such as electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems into building designs.
- Conduct risk assessments and fire safety audits for existing structures.
- Participate in site inspections to verify the correct installation of fire protection systems.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Stay updated on the latest fire protection technology and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- [8-10] years of experience in fire protection system design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and hydraulic calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in fire protection engineering (e.g., NFPA or NICET).
