Job Responsibilities:
1. Design and Planning:
• Develop detailed electrical design plans, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems for the school building.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Incorporate sustainable energy solutions such as solar power, energy-efficient lighting, and automated systems.
2. Installation and Supervision:
• Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, switchgear, panels, and emergency systems.
• Coordinate with other construction teams (civil, mechanical) to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
3. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety standards and local regulations.
• Implement and maintain fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and backup power systems (UPS or generators).
• Conduct electrical safety tests and certifications.
4. Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design or installation issues during construction.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics, and documentation for all electrical systems.
• Provide regular project updates to management and clients, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation measures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building construction projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi electrical codes, standards, and sustainable energy practices.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
