A leading Multinational, Engineering and construction company, Looking for the Sr. Planner / Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely and successful delivery of construction projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams, managing resources, and monitoring progress to address potential delays and risks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Scheduling:
o Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules using Primavera P6. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements and contract specifications.
o Integrate various project components, including labor, materials, and equipment, into the schedule.
• Schedule Management and Monitoring:
o Track project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to the established timeline.
o Update and adjust schedules as required to reflect changes, delays, or unforeseen circumstances. Generate and analyze schedule reports and critical path analyses to identify potential issues and provide recommendations.
• Coordination and Communication:
o Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
o Facilitate regular project meetings and provide schedule-related updates and forecasts. Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and delays in a timely manner.
• Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks that could impact project timelines and develop mitigation strategies. Implement contingency plans and adjust schedules as necessary to manage risks and prevent delays.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders. Provide detailed and accurate schedule reports to management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
o Document and track changes to the schedule, ensuring all modifications are properly recorded and communicated.
• Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all project scheduling and planning activities comply with company standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of project plans and schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry with proven expertise in Primavera P6.
