A leading Multinational, Engineering and construction company, Looking for the Procurement Officer who will oversee the procurement process for structural steel and related materials, ensuring that they are acquired in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner.

Job Description:
o Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to structural steel to optimize sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.Create and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
o Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
o Ensure procurement activities adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. (Relevant certifications are advantageous)

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, specifically with structural steel or related materials. Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in the steel industry. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of integrity and professionalism.
