JOB DESCRIPTION:


POSITION: QC INSPECTOR

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Four years’ experience in the same field

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have experience in the inspection of buildings and facilities in electrical engineering disciplines.
• Must have knowledge of and be able to interpret IBC and other international electrical (NEC) codes.
• Must be able to follow proper inspection techniques and examine workmanship and materials, to detect deviations from codes.
• Must be able to follow proper inspection techniques and examine workmanship and materials, to detect deviations from codes, specifications and approved construction and maintenance practices.
• Must also have experience in planning and scheduling.
• Having ISO certification in Quality control would be beneficial.
• Record result of inspections and maintain records of specific items as per contract/specifications
• Perform duties in accordance with current departmental operating procedures, Plant safety procedures and PPE requirements. Participate in safety training and the QA safety team.
• Record inspection results in the operational computer system.
• Set-up and calibrate various types of measuring instruments and equipment as needed.
